Fashion Throughout the Ages
This is my fashion blog about fashion throughout the ages. Here you may find the latest fashion trends of this year, last year and even the years before you were even born!
Fashion in the 1960's
Long hair for both men and women was very popular in this time period. Men enjoyed the newly granted freedom to be flamboyant, wearing suits accessorized with bright, bold shirts and high-heeled boots. Ponchos, moccasins, love beads, peace signs, medallion necklaces, chain belts, polka dot-printed fabrics, and long, puffed "bubble" sleeves were popular fashions in the late 1960s for women.
Fashion in the 1980's
The 1980s was possibly the boldest decade in modern fashion history, a magical era of over-the-top silhouettes, teased perms and saturated colors. They were the years of puffed shoulders and power suits, flashy skirts and spandex leggings, velour, leg warmers and voluminous parachute pants.
Fashion in the 2000's
Popular accessories of the early 2000s include white belts, aviator sunglasses, trucker hats, hoop earrings, block heeled mary janes, leg warmers (worn with mini skirts), ugg boots, flip-flops, jelly shoes, lace-up sandals, newsboy caps, ponchos, and jelly bracelets.
Modern Day Fashion
Modern fashion has seen lots of comeback trends from past decades. Some of these include flared trousers, headbands, 2000's tracksuits and cool funky prints on clothes. Influencers such as The Kardashian family and more have a huge impact on fashion in the modern day.
